After months of working closely with Legislative leadership and with Governor Murphy to ensure that Freehold Borough is on a path to fair and equitable funding, Senator Vin Gopal is pleased to announce that the district is seeing a significant increase in funding of over $3.1 million dollars

"Districts like Freehold Borough have been fighting severe underfunding for years, imposing an undue burden on taxpayers and placing a cap on the potential of students," Senator Gopal said. "I am incredibly proud to have had a hand in renegotiating the Freehold Borough School District’s funding plan to ensure our students and teachers are well supported, while reducing the burden to taxpayers."

"As we go forward, I will be working to secure additional special education aid that will benefit even more school districts, including Freehold Borough," Senator Gopal said. "I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far and I am looking forward to our continued success together."
