OCEAN TOWNSHIP - The office of Senator Vin Gopal and Assembly Members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey is now accepting applications for spring 2020 internships for high school and college students in the legislators’ Tinton Falls and Ocean Township offices.

Applicants should submit a resume and a brief cover letter discussing their interest in public policy and state government to [email protected]. Students with an interest in social services, communications, policy development, or administration are encouraged to apply.

Candidates are invited to include with their cover letter any preference for an internship in the Tinton Falls office or Ocean Township office. All interns will gain experience in constituent outreach, state government, and the legislative process. Applications must be submitted no later than Friday, December 20, and accepted candidates will begin their internships the week of Monday, January 13.
